Peter Burton is currently a self-published author living in the rural mountains of West Virginia with his wife Tammie, two dogs, and numerous cats.

Formerly a graphic artist who has worked for several companies in the t-shirt and cosmetic industry, he recently returned to his first love, writing stories.

Always a bit of an extrovert, his sidelines included being a professional wrestler on the independent circuit in Tennessee, an amateur magician who entertained for parties, and a tattoo artist.

Currently he is working hard at writing in the Speculative Fiction genre, and hopes to either have a traditional publisher, or to be able to develop and reach many readers via the self-publishing market.

  1. I’ve seen you a lot on AQC. Enjoy your blog.

    • Thanks for stopping by, Richard.

Ya caught me making an ass out of myself on AQC, did ya? 😉

At the moment the blog is slightly on hiatus, with Marathon going on. (Which is a cheap way of wussing out on work LOL!)

I’ll get back to making an ass out of myself here ASAP. 😀

  2. Hey there Peter! I love reading your blog, and you’ve given me some good advice on here. In the spirit of sharing great blogs, and connecting bloggers, I’ve nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award on my blog. 🙂

  3. Why, thank you, Aly.

I am very grateful for the honor.

The advice I generally put out here is mostly the things I have learned from other sources, books on writing from Writers Digest, and the many different, and wonderful writers I have been fortunate enough to meet on line. such as yourself. So, I can’t claim any exclusive knowledge in it.

Mostly I follow the advice of others, and see if it works for me. If it does, I use it. If not I forget it.

Hopefully anyone else reading my stuff here will do the same with my opinions. (I kinda hope they’ll be wanting to read my work, and become a fan as well… but don’t tell anybody.) 😉 😀
